double portrait exercise

Hello, it's me again: Jacinta. Today I can give you another insight into my trainee life at Photogenika.
Recently there was a double portrait training with exercises for us trainees and I would like to tell you a little about this.

At the beginning we discussed in general what to look out for in portraits, especially when several people are to be photographed together.
We tried different poses and considered which ones are good for women and which ones are good for men. We also thought about which different poses you can combine well together for a photo.
Then we tried out how to get different-looking images by slightly varying the lighting and changing the image section.

After lunch together, the practical part of the training continued. In addition, two friends of my colleague came by, whom I was then allowed to photograph.
First I photographed the two in the studio. Once I created very classic but modern portraits and once the photo shoot was a combination of business and portrait photos.
I then photographed both of them together in the studio and thus had the opportunity to try out in practice how I could combine the different poses.

In the late afternoon we finally went outside to take some outdoor portrait pictures as the weather was very nice. For this I photographed the two individually again and paid attention to a style that was as natural as possible.
Here at our photo studio in the Westend we also have the beautiful St. Rupert Church nearby, which I particularly like for portraits because of the great brick wall. Some of my favorite pictures were taken at this church. Otherwise we took pictures in a nice green area in the neighborhood.

I hope I was able to give you a little insight into our training day.
Here you can see some of my results from that day.
Your Jacinta
