The magic of the moment: An exclusive evening at Burberry with Photogenika
Imagine entering a world where elegance meets history, surrounded by the scent of fine fabrics and an atmosphere full of style. That's exactly what I experienced when I had the opportunity to photograph a very special internal event at the Burberry store in Munich for Photogenika. For me, Aneta, with my background in fashion, this wasn't just a commission, but a true labor of love.
Behind the scenes: Our mission in the world of the trench coat
Burberry – the name alone stands for effortless British elegance and, of course, the world-famous trench coat. When Photogenika was asked to create this exclusive Photographing the sales event, the anticipation was immense. It was already my second visit to the store for a photography assignment, and once again I received an incredibly warm welcome. You immediately feel the appreciation, and that makes the work even more enjoyable.
The heart of the evening: individuality and history
The focus of the event was, of course, the iconic trench coat. A select clientele of around 30 people was invited. What made this evening special? A Burberry seamstress was on hand! She not only answered all questions about the coat, but also offered an exclusive finishing touch: each purchased trench coat could be personalized with a selection of special Burberry patches. It was wonderful to see how fascinated the customers were by this personal touch. There were also interesting exhibits that provided insights into the history of the coat, some of which were inspired by 1920s fashion.
More than just clothes: capturing the mood
Besides the impressive coats and the charming seamstress, the atmosphere was what really made the evening special. Stylish snacks and drinks were served – naturally, these little works of art couldn't be left out of the photos. What particularly impressed me was the interaction between the customers and the Burberry team. The atmosphere was professional yet incredibly warm. You could see how personal customer service is practiced here in a completely unobtrusive and appreciative way.
For me, capturing these moments is what makes event photography so magical. It's not just about who was there or what was there, but about Feeling of the event. Because Pictures say more than 1000 words – they preserve the atmosphere, the joy, the interesting conversations, and the special details that make the event unique. This applies to every event, big or small!
At the end of the evening, we had the opportunity to photograph the fantastic Burberry team in Munich. A wonderful moment to capture the faces behind this elegant experience.

It was an unforgettable evening full of elegance, exciting insights, and warm encounters. Such assignments with brands like Burberry are always inspiring. They demonstrate how important professional event photography is about telling the story of an event and creating precious memories for hosts and guests.
