\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tSeptember 7th, 2010 \u2013 September 11th, 2010: Second week of training \u201ePractice makes perfect\u201c \u2013 true to this proverb, I spent the second week here at Photogenika intensively practicing passport photos<\/a> I'm busy so I can get the hang of it as soon as possible and know exactly what to pay attention to. And believe it or not, there's a lot! For you as a customer, passport photos are a matter of at most fifteen minutes. You're escorted to the studio, take a seat on our little black swivel stool, are posed by one of our photographers, and then, if you've opted for instant development, you can take your passport photos home with you right away. I, on the other hand, get nervous before every passport photo session because I always feel like I might forget something. So many little details contribute to a good passport photo that will, of course, be accepted by the authorities for driver's licenses, passports, ID cards, etc. For example, the lighting: all the lights have to be positioned correctly so there are no dark shadows or harsh lines on the face being photographed. It's also crucial to ensure that the two rear lights have diffusers that spread the light evenly, and not spotlights that might have been used in a previous job application photoshoot! Then the radio trigger on the camera and lighting set should be activated, because without a radio trigger there's no flash, and without a flash, no good photo. Also important is the position of the person being photographed: the stool should be adjusted to a height that allows the feet to rest comfortably on the ground; the body must be upright, shoulders straight, and the face directly towards the camera. But that's not all, because the eyes, nose, and chin must be in a straight line and also facing the camera. Women with long hair should ideally tie it back, as biometric sensors can interfere with the camera's position. passport photos<\/a> (i.e., passport photos) the ears must be visible, which isn't possible with loose hair, and for women with particularly voluminous hair, the entire picture can often be filled with it, leaving no white background.
